This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

I'm in a club that has a yearly publication - about 50 pages/black and white, with a 3-color cover.
We mail it out to about 300 members in USA and about 10 in Germany.
It's getting quite expensive to mail, especially to Germany. I am wondering if there is a printing/mailing service in Europe it might come out less expensive because it would skip mailing it overseas? Can anyone recommend such a service?

Thanks in advance

Joan

The eu is adding a 3 euro surcharge to anything mailed. This will make it too expensive to buy print books from other countries. Actual mailing seems to be something governments want to discourage. So I think that trying anything that involves actual print is going to be too expensive whatever service you try. When I sold Spanish Mustang calendars in the US ten years ago they became too expensive to print out and mail. My solution was to send out PDF versions that could be printed on personal computers. The printouts also had a QR code so that if people put the printout on bulletin boards they could connect with the web page. Maybe something like this could be workable for your situation?
