I retired to the golf course as my writing room was already 26 degrees brutal at 7.30. I then got roasted almost to a cinder.

We had really scary thunder and lightening for hours last night, but the temperature today has been a pleasant 20 degrees. You'll all need to summer in Scotland

Thank goodness for a refrigerator and iced water to dip a towel into a lay it on your neck. Is it humid over there? I won't tell you what today is like in sunny queensland.
