Hi Rachel, it sounds like you are extraordinarily stalwart, and I am sure a great support and role model for your kids.

Fingers crossed they settle in now term has started, but it is a strange new beginning for them. Not, I'm sure, what they were hoping for when they signed up for it.

Stan's course doesn't start until end October (online) - neither does the maintenance loan, so he's broke and still hasn't found work. Meanwhile, his French bank is refusing (reason so far unknown) to let him transfer his crowd funded money from France to UK. So depression has set in and term hasn't even begun
