Oh gawd. Sorry. Hope I didn’t spread it virtually…
It’s pretty likely that much/all of it is new-Coke Covid. Surprises me, since symptoms this time are quite different to “classic” Coke Covid first time round. Telltales are sore throat initially, nasty all-night gunk slowly oozing down back of throat. Plus loss of smell. Sweating/chills/fever etc.
Seems highly selective, some folk get it really badly, others in same family / close proximity not at all. Bloody heck, it's evolved to target writers now.

Thank you @Hannah F. It's a horrible one. Hope it's not doing the rounds where you are.

I'm not sure, but I don't think it's Covid, @AgentPete. The throat is ok. I think it's the sickness bug that's going around on base, probably imported straight from the US (so it's probably Bloo's bug). The abdominal aches are unreal. But like you say, Covid may have evolved. Just what we need, a bug that targets writers. Like writing isn't hard enough already.

Sounds horrible! I hope it doesn't drag on too long, like an edit of a messy first draft. Hope you're feeling better real soon!
