How can I tell if my character or plot that needs to change?

I have watched every single one of his lectures multiple times. I call him my professor. His thoughts about writers block are exactly on point for me.

I keep going back to him too. His signing of The Way of Kings videos are long but packed full of info. His macaw, Jello, is gorgeous too
