• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

So guess what? I won a pitch contest for The Correction compliments of Books Go Social and the International Dublin Writers Festival! I won $250 worth of amazon or facebook ads! And now that I broke this ceiling, a big lit agent who is coming to the festival will 'consider' my pitch (still long way from reading!). But you want to hear the craziest part I pitched Book 2 The Correction: The 12 Coins, which I have yet to do a blurb or cover reveal!

Now should I run the ads on book 1 or wait until book 2 is out too (summer)? I heard ads work better when you have a few books in your portfolio. And in your opinion choose Amazon or Facebook ads? Books Go Social will run and optimize them. Thank you!
