Write Club South is a semi-weekly craft exercise. All Litopians are welcome to join. A private thread will be opened to present results, and we can also hold a Zoom meeting at Huddle South time to discuss them. You are of course welcome to submit results even if you can't make the meeting. Or just do the exercise without submitting anything!
Today's WCS was such fun, I've come up with another exercise in a similar vein. It's based on that "What's your indie band album" game. Playful (I hope), and with the added benefit of blurb writing practice.

Cover Story
Here are the steps:
- Choose a random picture. It can be from anywhere. This looks like a decent image generator that uses a database (i.e., not AI). This is now your book cover.
- Choose a random Wikipedia page. Here is a useful tool. This is now your book title.
- Choose a genre that fits your title and cover.
- Write the blurb. I personally like to have a template, so this seems like a good site, as does this, but whatever works for you. Aim for around 150 to 200 words. Go wild! After all, it's not like you're going to write the actual thing

- Repeat if so desired.
- Share the results, with images if possible, in the private results thread.
