beta readers

I hope this year to start looking for beta readers, but one thing is eating me... If we share an electronic file, how do we know the reader won't upload it to something tied into AI and inadvertently end up releasing the writing? I had a friend suggest her mother as a beta reader, and mentioned...

If I were to be so bold as to request Beta Readers, would the kind, creative and adorable members of The Colony be willing? And IF so, what sort of limits, or restrictions must I employ on my request and of any hapless human who happens to harken to the call? (Yours in literal and literary lunacy)
