I normally like to tell you about the latest and greatest features we’ve just added to the (still-in-beta) Author Platform… but today., it’s something small but, I hope you’ll agree, rather darn nice.
The blog post editor now has a new content type: the book! You can easily insert a card to show off one of your books in a blog post which clicks through to the main page for that book.
You can also untick 'Only search in my bibliography' to select another author's book as long as it's on the Litopia Author Platform.
You will get a preview of what the book card will look like, which is styled based on the book's genre (selectable when editing the book page itself).
Neat, huh?
And obviously, since we’re creating the world’s first custom-made platform just for authors, this is the sort of useful feature we should be – and are – building right into it.
