• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

It’s really easy.
Go to your Author Profile page (i.e. click on your name in the top menu, once you’ve logged in at Litopia.com).
Then click Edit.
You’ll now see that your author name has become editable (like all the other things on that page).
Click “Save” when you’re happy.
NB – as the little pop-up window tells you, be careful when you do this, because it will change the link to your Author Profile.
EG my current link is
Code:
https://peter-cox.litopia.com/
But if I changed my author name to Algernon Cryptwhistle… as I’ve too-often fantasized… then it would become
Code:
https://algernon-cryptwhistle.litopia.com/

Thanks Pete! Should be done now, so I can get to work confusing everyone thoroughly about who I am 👍

I think I was at uni with a guy called Algernon Cryptwhistle. (The theology degree in Durham in the early nineties was full of chaps with names like that.) He probably went on to be Archbishop of Somewhere.
Don't forget Cathy Undercroft. They sold nice soup in the Durham cathedral undercroft restaurant.

Welcome back to the world of writing but more importantly glad you are well again and will remain so. Your health is far more important than any silly old writing or best seller :)

Good luck with your work.

Thanks David! That's very true. Still not well sadly, but an awful lot better than I was a few months ago. I'll take the win!
