• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

We've actually added a 'commute' to our daily routine. When we're all ready for work/school, we go for a nice walk. It's a good warm-up before sitting down to our computers in this cold shed. And it's a chance to discuss the day ahead, like we used to do on our car commute (and a whole lot more pleasant than a car commute--I could get used to that).
