• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

    • Don't give offence

We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

Gorgeous cover :)

I'm not familiar with the story, so let's pretend I'm a new reader and I'll tell you what I think the story is about from the cover, and then you see how close I got (btw, some genres I'm okay with, some I'm crap, so take what I say with a grain of salt).

I'm getting stars, and her hair looks different, so I'm thinking off-planet but the the horse and gun throw me off because they're very much an earth thing so then I'm wondering, something in the desert? The title isn't helping me decide what the story is about either, sorry, but if I had to guess, the title has that clinical-ness feel of sci fi, I'd put money on sci-fi.

I should be finished my first draft in two weeks, so I'm happy to help out. Just let me know what you need. I've not been involved with ARC reading before although I know you're ready to launch. Is it a review on Amazon?

Yep you got it spot on. It's sci-fi with a desert setting in an 'old earth simulation'. Netgalley is an arc program where you put your book there and people can download it for advanced reading before launch and hopefully they will write a review later. Of all the programs I used I find Netgalley is the best. So now I use only this. Everything else is a waste of time and money.

Well done you :) You've hit the ail on the head!
