Submission deadline - August 31, 2026. We will respond with an email within a few days that we have received your story for review, but acceptance will not be sent until the anthology is full.

What we want:
-Well written, polished work
-2,000 to 6,000 words
-Well developed characters and story arcs
-Simultaneous submissions are acceptable, but please let us know if you're accepted elsewhere
-Multiple submissions are welcome, but we'll only accept a single story per author
What we don’t want:
-AI, though AI software for grammar and spell check is ok, such as Grammarly or Word
-Reprints, first publication stories only, please
-Politics, we want our readers to be entertained and frightened, not lectured
If Accepted:
-Payment - $10 CAD per story, to be paid within one month of publication via Paypal.
-Your story will be published in the anthology.
-We will do minor editing only for missing words and punctuation.
-We’ll request a one paragraph author bio to include along with your story
-Easton Tales Publishing requests exclusive rights (physical and digital) for the first six months after publication, and non-exclusive rights for any future printings of this anthology. Authors retain all other rights and are free to reprint after the initial six months.

Enshrouded: A Horror Anthology
Easton Tales Publishing is on the hunt for original stories ranging from 2,000 to 6,000 words for our upcoming horror anthology. The theme of this collection, enshrouded, refers to the unearthing of something secret that has been hidden or concealed, and the darkness and terrible aftermath that follows.
