August's Book Club is Gwen & Art Are Not in Love by Lex Croucher, and we're on Zoom at 8pm this Saturday, 22nd August.Quick summary for anyone who hasn't picked it up yet: Gwen and Arthur, betrothed since birth and thoroughly sick of each other, each discover the other's secret and agree to fake a romance so that both of them are protected. It won the 2024 YA Book Prize, and its publisher pitched it as "Heartstopper meets A Knight's Tale".
